"21 Days of Berlin/Photography, Literature" – Artists in residence project with photographer Remigijus Treigys (Lithuania) and author Rolandas Rastauskas (Lithuania). From the three week stint in Berlin emerged the picture series "21 Days of Berlin" (Remigijus Treigys 2004, publication of a catalog) and the stories "Berlin Alien" (Rolandas Rastauskas 2005, published in literature magazine "Krantai"). A project of the Artist's House Klaipėda in cooperation with Giedrė Bartelt Galerie/Berlin and the Lithuanian Embassy in Germany.

"Europolis/Film" – Film festival to commemorate the 2004 EU expansion with current productions from Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary. In cooperation with European embassies and cultural institutions in Lithuania.

"German Cultural Days in Klaipėda/Festival" – Annual German-Lithuanian cultural festival in the genres of literature, music, theater, art and film. Participants include, among others: Jazzkantine, Berlin Jazz Orchestra, WMF Club Berlin, José F.A. Oliver (author), Ilma Rakusa (author), Thomas Neumann (photograph), Grotest Maru (street theater). A project of the City of Klaipėda in cooperation with literary and international partners.

Background

Study of political science, journalism and communications and Eastern Slavic studies in Münster and St. Petersburg. Directing editor of the „St. Petersburgische Zeitung”, Russia from 2000 to 2002.

Current

Consultant for foundation relationships and business cooperation in the Directorate-General for Culture and Communication of the German Federal Foreign Office, Berlin from 2005 to 2006. Founding partner and, since 2007, Director of inter:est Kultur- und Bildungsprojekte GmbH, Berlin.

Press spokeswoman for inter:est GmbH of goEast - Festival of Central and Eastern European Films in Wiesbaden from 2008 to 2009; Project Manager of the goEast Film Festival’s event series "Documentary film award ‘Remembrance and Future’ currently underway" in 2008 and 2009; Project Manager of the international city map project "Little Global Cities – A different Europe uncovered" from 2010 to 2012; Communications and press work for numerous employers from the areas of art and culture.
