Background

Senta Höfer studied the German language and literature, journalism and art history in London, Bamberg, Antwerp and New York. From 1990 to 1996 she did freelance work at the Allgemeine Deutsche Zeitung für Rumänien, the BBC World Service and the Bayerischer Rundfunk (Bavarian Broadcasting). From 1998 to 2001 she worked as a consultant and a protection officer at the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Croatia and as an information officer at the United Nation’s Information Center (UNIC) in Bonn.

Current

Since 2005 Program Manager in the area of training for foreign diplomats at the German Federal Foreign Office. In addition, from 2005 to 2008 she coordinated the cultural program of the German Library Initiative for Central and Eastern Europe "People and Books". She is a founding partner of the inter:est Kultur- und Bildungsprojekte GmbH, Berlin.
