An interdisciplinary project for students from Lithuania and Romania in collaboration with the German Cultural Center Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
"International Project Work: Seminar for teachers of German as a foreign language from Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus und Kaliningrad (current trends in German culture and practical training in project work)." In collaboration with the Academia Baltica, Lübeck.
"Qualification seminar for teachers of German as a foreign language from Lithuania on the Curonian Spit (German culture and methodology-didactics)." In collaboration with graduates of the Robert Bosch Stiftung’s International Training Program for Teachers of German as a foreign language. Specialized training included current methods in German as a foreign language (DaF) and German as second foreign language (DaZ)-instruction and project work.
BackgroundStudied English and Romance languages and cultures at the Universities of Heidelberg, Madrid and Pisa. Since then, she has worked as a publishing editor, author and text coach and as a teacher for German as a foreign language in adult education. From 2002-2005, director of the Regional Center for German language and culture, Kaunas, and teaching activities at Vilnius University in Kaunas (German language, literature, and culture). From 2005 to 2007, free-lance instructor in Germany and Central and Eastern Europe (international project management, higher education skills, communication).
Current
From 2007 to 2011, DAAD-lecturer in the field of German Studies at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania (historical-political education, business communications, project work, and transdisciplinary skills).
From September 2011 director of the department of Intercultural Economics and Media Communication at the Institute of German as Foreign Language Philology at the University of Heidelberg.
