Dr. Hans-Joachim Hahn
Dr. Hans-Joachim Hahn directed the Center for Meetings, Exchange and Research in Gerhart-Hauptmann-Haus in Jelenia Góra-Jagniątków in the Sudetes from 2003-2005. During this period he organized the House’s program work and set a course in the area of student exchange, German-Polish collaboration and international Hauptmann research.

Hans-Joachim Hahn studied German language and literature, philosophy, Dutch language and literature and German as a foreign language at the University of Berlin, the Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Amsterdam, 1988-1996. He received his PhD from the Freie Universität Berlin in 2003.
Current
He is currently employed as a researcher at the Simon Dubnow Institute for Jewish History and Culture at the University of Leipzig since June 2006.
