Winter Meeting 2018: Sustainability

An initiative within the framework of the Robert Bosch Cultural Managers Network.

13th to 14th January 2018, Circular Economy House in Berlin, Germany

On January 13th and 14th, around 40 members of the Robert Bosch Cultural Managers Network representing the different Cultural Managers programs, Actors of Urban Change, Tandem Shaml and Tandem Europe gathered in Berlin for the annual meeting of the Network. The main themes of the meeting were sustainability (sustainability of the network, environmental sustainability, financial sustainability…) and advocacy. To feed our internal discussions regarding the RBCM Network, we got inspired by “The creative case for diversity” by Abid Hussain of Arts Council England, and heard Yohann Floch (On the Move, FACE) share his experience on advocacy and sustainability of networks. Various “get involved” sessions were held for members to present some projects, and to work in small groups on some of our current issues (integration of new members, values of the network, benchmarking, equal opportunities, etc.)
This meeting was also the occasion to enjoy Berlin’s cultural and gastronomic life, with a show at the Tanztage Berlin 2018, and a networking brunch on Sunday.

The meeting was organized by Virág Major and Gwendolenn Sharp.
