"Potyah76" (English: Train76) was an internet portal primarily dedicated to Ukrainian contemporary literature. Potyah76 refers to the express train that ran from Gdansk in Poland through Ukraine (including through Lviv and Chernivtsi) to Bulgaria in the 1960s. In recent decades, this train has become a "domestic" train and runs today only through Ukrainian territory.

The founders of the internet platform took this "isolation" of Ukraine as inspiration to respond to the train as a motif and to initiate international literary dialog. They helped transform the train from a virtual to a real existence: Young Ukrainian authors who were directly or indirectly connected to the internet platform were invited to a book tour in Germany.

In addition to readings, the tour included moderated talks and panel discussions with representatives from the literary, cultural, and political worlds. It also included an introduction to the website. Using a variety of event formats, young Ukrainian literature was presented to German-speaking audiences.
