February 2010 (graphic workshop), Szivárvány Gyermekház; May 2010 (book presentation) in the context of the program "Pécs - European Capital of Culture 2010," Pécs (Hungary)

The interactive city guide was developed by the association kultúrAktív. The goal was to connect ten to twelve-year-old children to the city of Pécs and its surroundings in playful ways and to establish the city guide for children in Hungary.

The city guide contains interactive tasks on various topics related to the city's artistic environment and nature. Children can use it to orient themselves better in the urban space and as a way to identify with the city.

The publication encourages children to be receptive to urban spaces, to perceive it critically and analytically, not just to observe it passively. The guide provides a special approach that motivates children to initiate transformations within the shared living space and to find new creative ways to interact with it.

Students of the University of Pécs sketched the illustrations under Dóra Sirály’s direction. In the context of the workshops that lasted several days, the students became acquainted with innovative ways of working.
