Julia Lechler

Background

Studied Eastern European studies and Cultural studies at the Freie Universität Berlin, the Europa University Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder and the RGGU in Moscow. Graduate work on architecture and city development in post Soviet Moscow with Prof. Dr. Karl Schlögel. Various activities and internships, including at the Deutsche Welle and in the German Historical Museum. Until December 2009 project coordinator at KulturwerkStadt_Südost within a project about the architectural and cultural heritage in Skopje, supported by GTZ.

Field study about the potential of future German-Macedonian collaboration in the area of cultural and architectural heritage preservation and cultural tourism development.
