Timo Köster
Timo Köster directed the program department of the International Elias Canetti Society in Ruse from 2005 to 2008. He developed the conceptual framework for the program and organized numerous projects with a focus on contemporary art and culture.

Timo Köster studied cultural studies and communications and media studies with a focus on cultural history, cultural management and public relations/PR at the Universität Leipzig with a semester abroad at the Sofia Universiy St. Kliment Ohridski/Bulgaria from 1999 to 2005. During his studies he completed diverse internships in the areas of cultural management and public relations. After his return from Bulgaria he worked in the exhibition department of the Gallery of Modern Art in Leipzig for the research project “Carte Blanche” and for the research project: “Brand name space (dreams) in post socialist Europe: Geographies of production and consumption exemplified by modern markets and brands in Bulgaria at the Leipzig Institute for Regional Geography and the Catholic University Eichstätt”.
