Katja Lasch

Cultural Manager at the German Cultural Center in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, 2005-2008

Katja Lasch directed the German Cultural Center Cluj-Napoca, a non-profit organization with a language department, library and culture program from 2005-2008. She was responsible for the strategic development of the institution and in charge of the organization’s culture program, focusing on contemporary art and educational projects.

Background

Katja Lasch studied Eastern and Southern European History, political science and Romanian language and literature in Jena, Munich, Romania and the Republic of Moldova. From 2002 to  2004, she was an assistant at the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen. In parallel with her activities in Cluj-Napoca she studied business administration at the Fern University Hagen and completed an arts administration course at the Institute for Cultural Management at the Ludwigsburg University of Education in 2008.

Current

Director of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Information Center in Bucharest, Romania and lecturer at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies since 2008.
