Andrea Lamest

Andrea Lamest was cultural manager at the Bavarian House Odessa (BHO) in the Ukraine from 2004 to 2007. She was responsible for the strategic advancement of the cultural department and created event concepts for contemporary culture.

After studying fine arts at the Bremen Art School Andrea Lamest initiated projects and exhibitions with artists from Eastern Europe and received the DAAD Fellowship for the Russian Federation. She was also active in project and exhibition management of various institutions. In 2004 she completed the postgraduate study in cultural management at the Institute for Cultural Management in Ludwigsburg.

Current

Andrea Lamest has directed the European Art House Schafhof in Freising near Munich since 2007. A particular focus of her work is in the fellowship program/artist exchange of the district of Upper Bavaria with partnership countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
