Antje Kohlrusch

Cultural Manager in Debrecen, Hungary 2005-2007

The German Cultural Forum Debrecen was founded in October 2005 at the University of Debrecen. Antje Kohlrusch was in charge of the Forum from 2005-2007, built up the organization and linked it to relevant institutions in-country and abroad. She organized events, concerts and exhibitions for groups with cultural and linguistic interests.

Background

M.A. Antje Kohlrusch studied German and Finnish-Ugric philology and sociology at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen as well as cultural management with an emphasis on PR and marketing/communication in Weimar. Among other positions, she has worked in a marketing agency, as a publishing house editor, and as a project leader for the first years of the Luther decade and the 500-year anniversary of the Reformation in the project office “Luther 2017” in Wittenberg.

Dissertation on the topic "Theaterbranding als Kommunikationsprozess " with Prof. Steffen Höhne, Institut für Kulturmanagement, Weimar. Since fall 2011 press and public relations work with MitOst e.V., Berlin.
